Kuk Sool Won™ of Oak Hill Martial Arts is an approved AISD Off Campus Physical Education (OCPE) Provider.

The purpose of the OCPE Program is to accommodate students who are making a serious effort to develop higher-level skills in a specific activity that exceeds what the school district can offer through the general physical education program. The OCPE Program allows students in 7th through 12th grades to earn credits that meet the district and state physical education requirements. Students will be physically educated along with being physically active. They will show accountability of skill development, learned physical activity and health concepts and social development through participation in the martial arts along with written and tested assignments that are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Physical Education.  The OCPE Program is a partnership between Austin Independent School District and Kuk Sool Won™ of Oak Hill Martial Arts. A complete list of OCPE providers may be found at: https://www.austinisd.org/pe-health/pe/off-campus-pe.

The student must attend 5 hours of martial arts classes per week along with an additional 30 minutes for workbook assignments. Students will receive a numerical grade for each six week period and a final numerical grade for the semester. The Physical Education Department will be responsible for supervising the OCPE Program standards to ensure that each student receives a quality, off-campus physical education experience. Along with the monthly tuition fees for martial arts training, there will be an administration fee of $150 per semester due for the OCPE program to Kuk Sool Won™. If you are interested in your student participating in the AISD OCPE Program, please contact barbarak@kswoakhill.com or 512-899-8710.
